Madeline Kane is an administrative associate at Jensen Strategies. In addition to ensuring our office runs smoothly and efficiently, Madeline is a key contributor to our recruitment, organizational development, and policy analysis projects, and has worked closely with clients including Washington County, and the cities of Gresham and Sisters.
Madeline completed her Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution with certifications in Mediation and Collaborative Governance at Portland State University. During her graduate studies Madeline led an organizational assessment for Mercy Corps, helped develop PSU’s Conflict Resolution Resource Center, conducted conflict resolution training sessions for City of Portland staff, and facilitated a community mediation process concerning private transportation infrastructure maintenance.
Before joining Jensen Strategies, Madeline built extensive experience in the legal sector, providing records management, case transfer and processing, government liaison, and human resources services for multiple firms.
Madeline has had the opportunity to spend significant time overseas, participating in the School for International Training in Mombasa, Kenya, where she gained a firsthand appreciation for the importance of community building and the dynamics of cross-cultural exchange.
When not in class or at work, Madeline enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and watching Jeopardy!
